2016 "Hannah's Hill" Cabernet Malbec

West Cape Howe WinesVintage Description: The 2016 Hannah’s Hill has had a shift to Cabernet Malbec to display theintense Frankland River Malbec against the classic Mount Barker CabernetSauvignon.
Fruit Source:Frankland River and Mount Barker
Colour:An amazingly inky & dense crimson with a purple red hue
Aroma:Intense aromas of dark berry fruits e.g. boysenberry & blackcurrant, with complexing dry savoury spice and lifted violets.
Palate:Beautifully full flavoured with great texture. The rich, dark berry fruit flavours are very well balanced by the drying tannins from the fruit and the well-integrated oak and gives this wine its great length and persistence of flavour. This is a wine with the depth of fruit and a spicy finish to be enjoyed while still young, but will also reward a few years in the cellar.
Cellar Potential:Beautiful drinking now and over the next 6 years or so.
