2016 Pinot Noir

West Cape Howe WinesVintage Description:
This is a finely structured Pinot with loads of the fresh cherry fruit flavours typical of cool climate grown fruit. These fruit flavours are beautifully balanced by the gently drying tannins picked up during fermentation and maturation and there’s a hint of astringency on the finish contributing to its length. It is restrained in style yet still has the characteristic mouthfeel and texture that is the hallmark of this variety.
Cellaring Potential: This wine is certainly approachable now but will continue to improve
Colour:Medium density with a dark red brick colour.
Aroma:The 2016 is quite perfumed with smoky and spicy cherry fruit aromas along with some attractive red berry and dried cranberry fruit characters.
