2016 Malbec

West Cape Howe WinesVintage Description: Sourced from our best vineyards in Frankland. After a brief cold maceration the fruit was fermented steadily to dryness. As Malbec inherently has a good tannin structure, it did not need a period of extended time on skins. After pressing, the wine was aged for 12 months in a combination of some new but mostly older French oak hogsheads. It was given a few months in bottle before being released.
